Hello all, I am new here and I am just going to post the generic introduction as I don't know what else to do. 1. My name is Cody, you can just call me Cody. 2. I am 22 years of age and have been fascinated by this terrible war for as long as I can remember. My Grandfather served in the US Army at the Philippines, he never talked about the war which led to my fascination as it was a mystery to at the time. 3. I am from the great state of Arizona, but currently serving in the military myself and stationed in Maryland. 4. My main interest are about learning more about the Axis powers. Trying to see the war from their eyes, trying to understand history from the defeated side of history. I also like to learn about the parts of the war that many did not know happened (Like the Winter War). 5. I am an avid collector of firearms and enjoy the sport of shooting very much. I do play video games but I enjoy being outdoors when I can and the weather is right. I tend to find myself face deep in historical books and websites for longer than I would like to admit. 6. Looking at getting out of the military real soon and start pursuing a history degree. Quite excited about it. Looking forward to sharing knowledge with everyone here. Thank you,

Hey all. Thanks for the warm welcome. I am from Glendale. But currently at Fort Meade in Maryland. I like to collect old war firearms as I am sure many do here also. Looking for a Germam WW1 Gewehr 98 with the roller-coaster sights (so if anyone is selling let me know). And as for my grandfather, I am looking into it. He never talked much about the war. And my resources on finding out are limited as I am so far away from family who may know.
