Just wandered over from ww2talk.com - which seems to be sputtering and billowing smoke for the afternoon - and thought I'd say hello to our cousins. I mostly drone on about 4th Indian Division and 1/4th Essex over there, or bore people with endless pictures of Cassino; I'll try and liven my act up for you chaps. I've snooped around here a little in the dead of night, but I thought that it was about time to pop up and say that it's a pleasure to read your board.
Welcome. Don't worry this is not Yank ruled only. There are many Southeners too, not to mention a bunch of Europeans and lads and lasses from other continents. They'd be bored without us. Nobody would read their posts when they boast and they need some class and culture too after all.
Ah, I'm currently 6,500 miles west of you and it's well past time for cocoa, but thank you for the welcome. Edit: Cheers, Skipper - have worked with enough Americans to know there's a fair selection of you guys out there.
Hi, Charley. Glad to see you here. I went to WW2Talk and couldn't get in. Thought it was just me. Almost bedtime for you, so goodnight.
It's always good to have another view from across the pond here. Always good to have another Limey around. Or a bloke. Not exactly sure what a bloke is, so if it's a fighting word, pardon me dude. Poke around, see what interests you and dig in. Since you signed in, you're a Rogue now. And once a Rogue, always a Rogue. You're in good company here.
We are starting to move into terms of endearment...Bloke just means man. Or if its a kid...little bloke.
