I've searched, but can't seem to locate the info. Can any of you advise me on what kind of skin surface the Ba 349 Natter has? The source would be appreciated.
From the venerable Green The Warplanes of the Third Reich: This aircraft's airframe was entirely made up of wood both solid and laminates. Mostly the later. The skin of the aircraft was plywood. There were metal reinforcing plates on the wing tips and lower vertical tail surfaces to allow these to track in the channels of the firing tower. The nose cone (covering the rocket pack) was clear plastic.
