I know a few, and own a copy of Bill Gunston's 'Piston Aircraft Engines'.

I'm a bit more interested in books and sources dealing with specific engine types, but everything is of interest.

There is usually quite a good Engines section in the back of most 'Janes' books.

I haven't seen a Jane's book in ages. I do have Jane's 'Naval History of World War Two' though. Not many aircraft engines to be found there. ;)

I was thinking about books, or webisites for that matter, dedicated to one specific engine like the RR Merlin, the DB 600 series etc. The 'classics'.
