    Yeah, but rumours?
I've heard loads of rumours - mostly contradictory!
And most seem to be wrong - for example, I did not know about the height requirments, and I thought that the badgers was the training regiment.
(I could get very paranoid and think that this is a deliberate misinformation campaign! :D )

Law enforcement agencies are looking into using EMP devices to end high speed chases by knocking out the suspect car's ignition and killing the engine. There is one such device that has been successfully tested (not under field conditions, though), but no time has been set for its entry into the field. One problem is that the device is expensive, so many police agencies wouldn't be able to afford them, should they ever become generally available.

Yes, I'd heard about that - but the report I read said that it aimed to knock out the chip that controlled fuel feed to the engine etc, and so it would not work on cars beyond a certain age.

Reminds me of someone (nickname was Badger) who ran on weekends a piantball site i used to use - his mate was even nastier and regularly dialed his paintball gun up so it fired way above the usual speed.

Well, it's a pretty lame polar bear, the one lying down! He got nibbled by a short sighted Beaver who thought he was a snow covered tree.
