I'm willing to get a mini tourney going here. As long as we have 4 players let's do it. I'll set it up to begin in Aug. Anyone interested?

That's three them, in short order too. I'll play if we cannot find a third, but I'll be happy to let another Rogue into the fray.

Maybe I'll give Peppy a call and see if he can tear himself away from poon-hounding long enough to get in some Combat Mission.

Nope, thats a different Joe. This Joe has actually backed out - he'd play, but not commit to a Tourney. I think Tomcat has the games as well?

Thanks for the reminder on Tomcat. This is just a few minutes old so we are in good shape: we have 2 for sure, and 1-2 more should be easy. I'll make a formal announcement later today and we'll give it a week. Will email Tomcat and call Peppy about it, which will also help.

On top of the tourney about to begin, a member of the mod team has accepted my challenge to play CM:BB in a massive battle. We are playing probably the largest campaign game I am aware of: To the Volga! I shall start posting an AAR of the battle once we get a few dozen turns in, as I don't want to give awat any of my units or strategy. No word on who my opponent is until I begin my AAR.

I finally have a few good CM games in the pipeline, I'm a happy wargamer right now.

Its been a long time since I did that.

I'd be open to some solo (non tourney) games myself. Could turn them into AAR's that way.

Where do you go to get your scenarios?

I already have a bunch downloaded, but if you are looking for more I'd go over to theblitz.org. They have hundreds there.

Musso, are you down for a monster scenario? I'm currently playing the campaign game To the Volga! which is 10 rounds of 25 turns each, yes that means 250 turns if it comes to that! We don't have to play that one, but I prefer to play a bigger game than a tiny scenario.

Certainly! Maybe not something quite that large, but I'd be up for it.

The 250 turns isn't likely to happen unless the battle is still close, more than likely the game would end long before that. It's good to know that the battle will be decided only by your decisions, rather than a timing issue though. Wan't me to pick something good and you can pick sides then?

Will shoot you an email, but we may have to wait on a mega-battle. Playing that huge game now, acouple other battles, as well as the tourney right now. Don't want to add any new games until I've trimmed my backlog.
