    I missed the "Norway Beaches", too. Then I presumed that the OP was done in by auto-complete until I noticed that the error was actually in the article. Now, after seeing errors Richard pointed out, the title makes some sense... sort of. :confused:

    There was a plan early on which involved an invasion of Norway. That was the reason the 99th Infantry Battalion (SEP) was formed. However, that plan went by the wayside. Probably due to the lack of beaches in Norway. :cool:

    Norway? Who knew? I don't remember an Allied landing there. Did I miss something?
