I also went to grad school with a girl named Dorit Meisels she drove a tank in the Israeli army. She was a Holocaust survivor and had a tatoo of a number on her arm. none of her immediate family lived thru the camps. She immigrated to Israel and told me American tanks were much more comfortable and reliable than any others they used . she was here to get her masters and then return to eretz Israel to become a teacher.
