Dumb question: Why a landing in France when we were already in Italy?

    Was there an actual response in there? If so, what was it and who made it?

    Yeah, I got that, but I just couldn't figure out what the last "response" from Clean was supposed to say.

    What does "my point was other commitments or other political reasons" mean? What does it have to do with either his original response or Carronade's correction, which he admits was correct?

    What does "i wonder about the reaction to, and off the 11000 polish reinforcements who were in the German army but were captured in Normandy" mean? What does it have to do with either his original response or Carronade's correction, which he admits was correct?

    Am I asking too much for wanting to read posts that are at least moderately legible and coherent?
