They can use spy cams and mock him as much as they like, the german team will contunue on its way to the final.

I hope they will upload Croatia vs Portugal on youtube. I will watch it when i have difficulties to fall asleep.

Italy is a team i underestimated yet, although highly praised by our TV-Experts. Well, that's why they are experts i guess.

Spain losing to Italy was a bit of a shock. I think Italy are playing with low expectations so aren't under the same sort of pressure as a team like Spain. Like I said earlier though, Spain has one of the best midfields in the game, but nothing - and I mean nothing - up front to score the goals when needed. As they displayed against Italy.

I thought Switzerland was the better team against Poland, completely dominating the 2nd half. A shame for them to lose on PK.

Croatia was by and far better than Portugal as well. Portugals only shot on goal was the game-winner. I felt very hard done for the Croatians...they deserved to go on to the next round!

Otherwise, Wales vs N.Ireland was not an exciting game but Wales march on! Republic of Ireland certainly gave France a run for their money in a very entertaining game!

Now lets see if England pulls an England against Iceland and loses on PKs :)

Hahaha "England out of Europe twice in 1 week"! Love it!

Glad Italy won as well. Glad they have their mojo back.

I saw only the first half of the Italy/ Spain match. I think Italy had much the better of play. Didn't see much of the England//Iceland match, but I also like the idea of England being out of Europe twice in one week. Brilliant.

Spain won last two Euro Championships and World Cup in 2010. I knew Spain wouldn't accomplish much just because of that.
I'm cheering for Iceland now since my team and Ireland which was my second choice were defeated. I love Iceland's chant...HOO!

What's funny about Iceland is that the 31.000 fans currently in France, represent 10% of the total population of their country.

I can't wait for Italy vs Germany. Perhaps the most exciting matching coming up?

As for Iceland, I knew they had the potential for a great performance once I learned about their defeat of Sweden and Netherland twice. Impressive.

I'm looking forward to Italy v. Germany. The tow best goalkeepers ever are in this, but it's going to be about the back line, and Italy has the greatest. Forza Azzurri!

We have the first semi-finalists, Portugal and Wales. Portugal haven't managed to win in the first 90 minutes throughout the Championship and yet they reached semi-finals. Wales on the other hand showed a great performance against Belgium and made a well deserved win.

My only problem with Wales vs Portugal is, as the broadcasters were talking about, the stupid yellow card rule when you get this deep into the knockout rounds. Wales will be without two of their best players in Ramsey and Davies because each picked up 2nd yellow cards against Belgium. Ramsey was a monster against Belgium - highest rated player on the field - while Davies has been solid in the back. I get the feeling that with them missing, Wales will struggle against Portugal.

Germany vs. Italy could be a pretty fun game to watch today too.

Germany-Italy is the finals before the finals as the local sports journalists like to call it.

Italy, I'm sorry to say, played to0 cynically, and paid for it. I'm gutted that they aren't going all the way. It was also such a long shootout. But, it's done, and now I'm guessing I'll just not root for anyone going to the final, but I'll watch, especially if Wales can keep going. Portugal will be tough.

Interesting game last night. France 5-2 Iceland. I have to say that Iceland did all they could and my congratulations to them for reaching 1/4 finals. And of course congrats to France for reaching 1/2 finals.
