    Hello Guys,

Thank your for your great comments. That is what makes collecting fun!!! Nothing more than how a collector likes to share his items with others that are interested.

I am a VERY serious collector. I eat, live and sleep collecting. There are STILL deals to be gotten, so NEVER let that deter you from collecting.

I have just about every badge of the 3rd Reich now. The only one that I am missing is the Arts and Science. There is currently one for sale in Germany, but way to high priced.

If anyone would like to see any kind of award, just ask and I'll be more than happy to post it for you.

Looking forward Otto to being able to post.

Also, please dont post my scans on the Wehrmacht. There are people on there that do not appreciate anything, and I dont want to get in a "contest" with anyone.

    Hello,

If you could please post the other photo I sent, it shows the Pilot Observer Badge AWARDED copy. The one show is the wearing copy with white Sapphires. The awarded copy is a masterpiece.

    Hello,

    OK...I think I'm in business.

Lets try my first post. This is the Pilot Observers badge in Diamonds, Awarded copy. This piece is also cased, and is named to a Field Marschall. It is done in platinum, gold, and over 150 diamonds.

Hi Fred and I agree with you on Wehrmacht--some items cant be shown because someone just might be jealous of the fact you have an item they can never have.

My KM Destroyer badge made by Friedrich Orth immediatly met up w/ some flak from chris.b--just because he and I do not get along. He killed it but my friend Frank (Munich) liked it as well as Sarge and the Frenchy--I have much respect for their opinions--especially Franks opinions.

The problem as so pointed out by chris.b was he hated the pin because if was verticle instead of horizontal--he got slapped in the face when Frank pointed out that not all F.O. badges had only horizontal pins--and he is correct--I had another F.O. w/ verticle pin--(repair made by a jeweler) pin not reattached exactly as should have been.

Luckily 99.99% of everything else I post is given all thumbs up. Well--with the exception of two ribbon bars.

Fred--I forgot to mention the following. You wrote that you eat, live and sleep collecting. Lats weeks I was wondering weeks if other collectors also think daily about their collections and want lists. Well you answered that question. I bet others here also do.

Hi Volkbert--I have the same appetite as Fred has--only he likes his medals with more spidces and served in fancier restaurants--most of mine are fast food compared to his being done by a Master Chef :D

    Hello,

Carl has a GREAT analogy of collecting. When I started out collecting, it was small. In fact, I still remember my first item was a plain Party badge. Not the golden, etc, just a Party badge. I would have never dreamed where I am today. Just remember we all start small, it is just how much effort we put forth to build our collections.

Yes, I have all the shields, including the Warsaw, Lapland, Balkan, Loriant. However these are un-provable as originals.
