Gosh those are some beautiful badges.

And for Volkbert--David--I have a mint Kriegsmarine Narvik Shield, a nice Army Narvik Shield, and a nice--either Luftwaffe or Army Krim Shield.

I still remember my first piecs of German stuff--and it turned out tho being ww2 items--neither were military. I was about `14 yrs old and went to a shopping mall where this older gent was selling all kinds of antiquities--and alot of it was ww2 German militaria. At that time--I could afford only about $25.00--and I bought what I had thought was a Single Shoulderboard that was of Obersts rank--turns out that it was a Police Senior Sergeants Shoulderboard, the other was what I was told that it was an SS Officers shoulderboard--turned out to be a Railway Inspection Police NCOs shoulderboard--both items were neat but total crap.

Also, I never collect singles--which is why my cloth collection isnt larger than it is. Some have been posted here in the past by Gary Mott--and you saw that they were quality pieces. I think I have about 20-25 sets of shoulderboards and about 10 or so sets of collar tabs. I have two exceptions of collar tab singles--both are Waffen SS and are totally mint--they are to 11th SS "Nordland" and 27th SS "Langemarck".

Definately looking forward to more of Freds stuff and other peoples stuff

I've heard from a few of the Wehrmachters who came over here to sneek a peek but havent registered or posted yet, and they support Fred 100% and dont blame him for not posting over at Wehrmacht.

That is very nice to hear. I would love to help out over there as well, but I feel I would get nothing but attacked. I do not understand people sometimes. Even the so called "authors", which we agree some people should not be, do not use common sense. For example there is a Moderator/author on the Wehrmacht that specializes in the "Iron cross", but is also a "CUFFTITLE" expert and Waffen SS? Please!! He also is a advocate of the "single-die" theory on the Knight's cross which if anyone used their brain they would realize as a production stand-point a company would in reality have SEVERAL dies to produce an award. Of course I am just using common sense on this one..haha.

Quite welcome and--I know the "expert" you are talking about over at Wehrmacht--he is hated by Knights Cross Recipients--especially Waffen SS RKTs. You will have to remind me at some point to tell you a story about "the person were reffering to" which happened when I went to visit an RKT when I was in Germany in 2000.
