I recently recieved an email from a canadian veteran of D-Day among other battles. So far I've come up with nothing useful, maybe someone here can help us out. I've just pasted his email here:

"I am looking for information as to the R.C.E. units which landed on Juno Beach in Normandy on D-Day. I'm specifically trying to track down a sapper named Walter E. MEJAKI. If anyone has knowledge of this person, of advice where I might find information that will help find him, it would be appreciated."

    Any takers?

    Otto,

Did a quick internetsearch and came up with a letter written by a Walter Mejaki at

    http://www.rootsweb.com/~onmanito/vetletter.html

Seems he is Canadian and went ashore on D-Day. Maybe the owner of this site can be contacted for further information. I have no further info.

    Good luck

    Stevin
