How do you add images?

I would like to post some pictures of a helmet I have some questions about but I don't know how. And I don't how to find a URL for a picture I took.

 

Thank You, but when I went on the paper clip icon it came up with the, Upload File from your Computer and I did upload the images is there anything else I have to do?

Hi Panzer,
Once you've uploaded the pictures and returned to the 'message' box - just click on the arrow next to the paperclip and it'll list the uploaded images - click on their names to insert them into the post.

Ok, I see the problem the picture is to big, it's 3296 x 2472. But how do I manually shrink it?

an alternative is to go to photobucket.com and login and receive a free account. you have several different functions from there that you can post imagery here and it will automatically downsize to your needs

 

Ok I did download a smaller version of the image and uploaded it, but when I went to the paper clip icon and inserted the attachment I did not see the image only numbers and letters, What am I doing wrong?

How the hell do you add a profile pic!?!

 

I don't know if there is a "time" before you go from recruit to member or not, but if you goto your "UserCP" link (on the top of the home page), it will open up and show an "edit profile" area on the left -bar. Work from there, you have figured out how to post an Avatar, it is the same process.
