    Cheers. Post this i the Medals section of the Militaria forums and someone like: Fischer, Stewy, Hucks or John should be better able to help you out. Im not near good enough to try venturing a guess.

    Thank you for your idea! I managed to get an unequivocal opinion: it is an early Deumer [Iron cross 1st class, without mark - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums

    Hi gents,

    Sorry to just butt in but I wonder if anyone could give me some advice please?

    I am about to put up, a WW2 Iron cross class 1, maker number 26, for sale Which is in its original box and both in imaculate condition.

    I have no idea what sort of price I should ask for it?

    Any help would be gratefully appreciated

    Hello!

    Its maker was [FONT=&quot]B. H. Mayers Kunstprägesanstalt[/FONT] from Pforzheim. I think it is not a frequent type. In Hungary it costs between 200-300€, depending its condition.

    Im in the USA and prices would be around a minimum of about $550.00 or so on up to?????

    Hello C Evans I just have one question. Is there a rare factor in the manufactures and the number? What I mean is there such a thing as the most desirable Makers Mark? Does each individual mark have a different price range when buying an Iron Cross 1939 Second Class?
