    Tiso just brought up the subject of museums in another thread so I thought I'd promote the area I live a bit by drawing this one to your attention -

    Certainly the most important suite of rooms for UK in WW2 and arguably for the Allies.

    Not a bad museum although its been a few years since I've been to it. There is also the Liverpool Martime Museum in the area, I was it again over Christmas and although the very good battle of the atlantic section is still there most of the model ships section has been replaced by what is basically a childrens playground. :angry:
