Looking for a good art of Luftwaffe vs B-17 box. From the perspective of a German fighter, with the perspective of the art looking from his tail towards the combat box of American bombers, as if the perspective is from one of the fighters in the German formation. The feeling I want the image to portray is the hopelessness of last stand, where only a few fighters are facing impossible odds.

I am sure there are dozens of them on the net, but I can’t find the one with the right perspective. It’s either three bombers and like 1 fighter, or the perspective is from the American box.

You might try the National Archives photographic collections.

You might also talk to some people at deviantart.com, see if you can cut a deal with one of the artists there.
