Luftwaffe funeral?

    Sorry, I know there were many but in this definitely alot of people. SO wonder if it´s possible to recognise whose funeral this is. Sorry about the numbers as the pics are being sold in Finnish net auction. Any ideas? Unfortunately no palces or dates in the pics.

    Let's see if we can deduce anything.

    High ranking/highly esteemed person.(obvious)

    Body was present. (not a memorial service so they were not shot down over enemy territory)

    Full honors, including band. (The degree of ceremony would seem to indicate this was early in the war or in a very rear area secure that has full access to military niceties like a band)

    Performed at an aerodrome durnig moderate weather. (No snow, no greatcoats)

    So my next step would be to get better resolution scans and see if the uniform styles can give us a better clue as to the year range.

    and so far I´ve got the highest bid so hopefully get to see the pics better.
