Hello people, I just randomly searched for a WW2 forum so I could ask my question:

I have a M1 or replica M1 helmet here. And I want to know if anyone can identify it from what time it came and if it is worth anything.

The reason I ask this is because I want to use the inner helmet for Paintball, and I will also spray a camouflage pattern on it.

Ofcourse I will only do this if it is indeed a worthless replica.I am pretty sure it is a worthless replica :p.
But I want to be sure so I need you guys help, here are a few pictures.

If anyone can help me with this,

    Thank you in advance

Thanks for you reply, do you also know if it's worth anything? I don't want to start painting and using it and later having to regret it.

Well, I saw that one coming :p.
    I'll make new pictures soon.

Anyways, I heard somewhere that WW2 American inner helmets had a small hole in the front (if that's true), this doesn't have one.
And the inner helmet's material is like plastic, you can bend it and push it in a bit. And the chinstraps are not leather but fabric.

The strap of mine is fabric.
Alright, so we can say mine isn't one, I think it's a replica for the Dutch army because it also has a typical Dutch name written inside the inner helmet.
