What makes you think that post-war tanks are harder? Anyway here is a new one to munch on.. What's this?
I think post war tanks will be harder for me and you anyways, I think we should post pictures of WW2 tanks for the non-tank nerds, but we only get to answer the post-WW2 tanks. Maybe I should just make a tank up! Yeah, that will trick him! Ha hah ha ha!
Joe, no offence intended mate, but do you think you should just answer the question rather than telling us how great you are at recognition? Or would you like Bodston, myself... & others... to cook up a 'special' quiz thread... just for you? :mischief: (& If you think post-war, or even photo-shopped tanks will throw him... experience tells me you're mistaken... he smokes a pipe you know ) Cheers, Adam.
Wow, He smokes a pipe did you say! I bet He knows what tanks Dr. Porsche was planning in his brain in the year 1945! Even before they came out to the drawing board! Well this is OT. Guys, start naming tanks before I take the urge to!
Nah, because he smokes a pipe he'd probably tell you that Dr Porsche himself had little or no hand in the actual design process, and mostly was just thinking about the money .
Excellent work. I thought the snow might put you off, and it did for a second. Good recovery. Prototype Polish Light tank proposed to replace their tankettes. It was overtaken by events and never reached production. Now lets see how long it takes for Joe to claim the credit. Your turn SW..
Go for it anyone, I'll get a scanner someday. Then you'll get sick of my posts, if not there already...hehehehehe
No fair SW.. I want to have a go at guessing too. Find something interesting in one of your books and then search for it on Google. 9 times out of 10 there is a useable picture already out there in Googleland.
Just to raise Bodston's blood pressure a little .: No, seriously, somebody post one that's actually possible. (Though if anyone really can work out, or have reference to, exactly what this is there's a few of us that'd be fascinated to know... Bovington tank Museum amongst other luminaries have been asked but seem to remain largely puzzled... if you really think you know what it is, make sure you have a very thorough double check.) Cheers, Adam.
