Regular visitors here probably noticed that we had to take a few days "vacation" to move to a new server. I'm pleased to say that despite a slightly longer transition time than planned, we are now on a brand-new, dedicated, super-fast server that can handle the bandwidth you Rogues currently use.

You probably won't notice anything different other than increased response times. And greater, server up-time all around.

So to all you Rogues, Welcome to your new home!

Mega thanks, Otto I'm sorry that you and Trouble aren't going to get to go on the Bahamas vacation, now that you spent the money on this new hardware.

Oh man, am I glad the board is back. I didn't realize how dependent I had become on it for the wide variety of views and ideas that are posted. Many thanks Otto for maintaining this great site.

    Now about those zombie Nazis...

I didn't realize how I was "Jonesing" for this place until I couldn't get here for a few days. Wow! Many, many thanks for all the effort, time, and no doubt expense. Otto you are the best.

Can't tell you how many times I looked over and found "v-message" and just about cussed. This is super!

Thank you for all the hard work and, no doubt, expense to do this, Otto. Like others, I had to check each day to see if we were back up and running. I was very happy that you also had our sister site to give me an alternate playground - although, I think some of the members there were wondering how bad the invasion was going to get! The silver lining was getting to catch up a little with Za. Thanks again, Otto, for your dedication to helping preserve the memories and keep the knowledge about WWII a current topic of discussion.

Thanks for your efforts, Otto et al. :salute:

Though I find ironnic that, just after a non-glorious return in years and during a two-week quarentine and isolation, the forums went on holidays...

Good to have the forum back and thank you for the hard work and te investment Otto .So far it seems to be worth it, the new server seems to absorb the traffic easily, let's wait a day or two until the usual number of postings are back!
