Aloha!

I'm an IT consultant in Seattle who researchers for "fun" (if you can call an addiction fun). I'm working on the Essex and Independence class carriers currently but in casting a wide net have come across many interesting items that I've scanned in and work to post on my site for others to read. I research primarily at the Seattle branch of NARA but make 1-2 trips a year to San Francisco NARA to look through the records there.

Probably 90% of the materials are Pacific theater ship related, but there are aircraft related items as well; I'm currently working on posting a 1943 interview with the COs of VS-3 and VS-10 for example. Hopefully stuff people here will find of interest.

Also a moderator over at ModelWarships.com and PearlHarborAttacked.Com (when it was active) and was involved in the "Blue Arizona" research (I'm not as vehement about the results as some).

Working with Dragon Models from China on their forthcoming 1/350th CVL kits.
