Hi Stefan, if ever in Deutschland the same time as I am-please let me know because I would mor ethan gladly buy you a dinner at a great place Susanne and I went to in Wilhelmshaven ;-))

Macker--it almost sounds like your talking about a Grilled Cheese Sandwich-which I love. Also, frying it in butter is THE only way to do it--properly that is ;-))

Ugh, I HOPE to never ever have to eat a suger sandwich again. In my more poorer days-back when I was a starving college student--suger sandwiches were something I had to have to survive on-for awhile. Thank God, for Pell Checks-which is what got the majority of us through those lean college days.

One thing I highly suggest that nobody ever try is-a Baloney and Rice sandwich-or a Baloney and suger sandwhich. Its much worse than it sounds. Catsup sandwiches taste much much better-and yup, I had those too. Now, I DO still love suger and peanutbutter sandwiches-though I have not enjoyed one since I was knee-high to a Grasshopper. Oh and another I highly suggest nobody ever HAVE to try is, a Hersheys Chocolate bar sandwich. Tasty as seperate entities, but the two don't mix.

Hi John, try a baloney or a ham sandwich on wheat bread using Miracle Whip as the spread, and on top of the meat, place as many Ruffles Potatochips on it then take the other slice of bread and place it over that smashing it down then eating the sandwich. That is some Mmm-mm-mmm good eating. :yum: :yum: :yum: That was one of my favorite concoctions which I had been doing since the age of 15. ;-)) I have not had one like that for about a year and a half but, theres still the future ;-))

    G'day Carl,

Our grandson, until recently resident in our home for the past 4 years, LOVED to start with a (large) generic "meat lovers" pizza on a tray.

On top of that he piled extra grated cheese, diced tomato, chopped bacon, and some strange thing called 'Pepperoni'. The whole thing ended up about 4" thick!

He then put in the oven at about 240C for an eternity, and then sat down and ate the LOT!!!!

(He flies to Afghanistan on the 29th!)

    John.

Meat lovers pizza sounds just about right for me,maybe swap the extra cheese and tomatos for some rashers.

One thing we've here that i havent tried yet is battered mars bars,i've heard good things about it but it sounds too wrong to be nice,
Basically you go to the chipper and they dip a mars bar in batter and throw it in the deep fat frier, its basically the same as a battered sausage but they use a mars bar instead of a sausage.

Greeting John ;-)) That Pizza is like one that a Pizza Restaurant Chain-had many years ago. These things were heavy and as thick as about 4 regular pizzas stacked on each other. Back then, I could only afford ot try it once as it was so expensive. Pizza Huts version of a "real" ""pizza pie"" wasn't a great seller (nor great tasting for that matter) so they quit carrying it in my area shortly after it was introduced. Your Grandsons Pizza sounds great. I haven't had any for quite sometime, and im w/ Macker--it's time for some pizza ;-))
