    Anybody notice that forum is now "Private" what happened to "open as an educational site for the whole world"?

    Or is this just for the maintenance?

    it is commonality to many WW2 forums to keep spammers out. If you are a real human being and are serious about posting questions/answers on a forum(s) ........... then join up, other than that, too bad

    well just think we have alot of discussion threads on this particular forum which could have lead to such stuff happening so there you go a couple of people have said this already the forum is getting overloaded.

    Certain questions can only be answered by human beings, not softwafe called spambots who register on forum to post spammed messages or steal data, such as emails and send spams to others. If you ask certains question which people should be able to answer, you keep the spambots away , at least for a while.

    I'll illuminate the issue. :confused:

    Right now the server is busy, too busy actually. Our server, while extremely powerful cannot deal with thousands of people all visiting at once. To continue to serve the membership I have maintained full access to all fully registered Rogues, but unregistered visitors can only see the front page. This is a temporary measure put in place until we get an even better server. As long as you are registered, nothing will seem different to to you at all, which is why some of you were confused.

    Got it now, totenkopf was not logged on and was trying to access threads as a guest.

    Nothing wrong with that, thats normal on most forums.

    is thate why they change it? before as a guest i got view all todays posts,now as a guest,i can't view anything until i log on!
    i think that's why they change it,not sure.

    i use to check (spy)what was going on ,before i log on but i can't do that any more.;)

    At last I can log off, been trying for the last three hours! :eek:

    Looks like another crash as there were 21 people when I got normal service here and now 93 and rising as I post this. Before the glue sets in again or another crash I bid you all good night.

    I know the "stats" for ww2f can, and are mind-boggling. And sometimes suffers from the dreaded treacle ... We've all had the .... "waiting & waiting for ww2f.com" tension ... even the... "Server timed-out" What's-it ... But the big black letters ...

    :_achtung: 404 Not Found -- :alarm: Warning! Danger! Will Robinson Danger!! :alarm: .... :_arg: ... :_ww2f.com:

    "Nooooo!!!! Katherine...Get my tin hat and cammo ready..."

    Absolute sheer bloody terror set in as I declared my Bookmarks toolbar infected with a virus ... Google Search Engine can't find it ... "Kath!!! They're coming..."
    OK...calm down... http://www.ww2f.c ... it's too late...the end is already upon us.

    What happens now? I even ... (shudder) ... Nearly Logged in to my facebook page for false comfort.

    Otto, you may want to consider a comfort 'link' so future panic attacks can be avoided...nothing fancy... maybe that photo of VonPoop "marking" his territory in the bunker, whilst whistling "We'll meet again" may have desired calming effect. :D
