Now we all know that is Stalinist propaganda. Anyone can see that is a MkIV chassis. The gun they found laying around some factory. Try again Joe. This could also be some of Mussolini's Photoshopping.

Never, but alot of people fell for the 'Hitler Diaries' back in the 80's. Just don't want you to fall for this anti-Stug propaganda. Just looking out for you buddy.

Congratulations, Ike! New comers to the Forum will have someone to show them the ropes and they will hopefully keep out of hot water. Glad you will be a moderator, and giving our existing hard working and patient moderators a helping hand.

I don't know why you are going on about the Stugs. I was reading the paper and it said they have all been destroyed.
    Sorry.

There's a Stug funeral, PM me if your interested. :)D)

When I saw this thread I thought it would be something worth reading about but wot, a frigging Texan made a Mod here!? Bless me, someday they'll make Presidents out of them Texans!

This is an attempt at StuG modification. They tried to pull the casemate too far forward but it just couldn't hold on the brink. They also tried to make it lighter by removing the roof :D

Za, any information on the kills of that fine-looking, precision-engineered, envy of the civilised world?

WOW!! photos of destroyed Stugs - must be worth a damn fortune

Why did the Germans destroy them ??

Hello PzJgr congrats to the promotion and the inevitable task of having to defend Stugs and banning of those who dare to oppose them :D.

Pssst; Za and Joe don't seem to like Stugs.

    Regards
    Kruska

If you are not in Ohio and in the San Antonio area this week end then Lackland AFB is having an airshow with the Blue Angles and alot of other acts. Glad they are having it this time of year instead of summer like they used to do.

Hey that is interesting. When did they start that? The airshows usually took place at Randolph. I may have to let me son know incase he doesn't already since he is stationed there. Thanks

Waddaya want a turret for? If you have to fire to your flank it means the unit by your side isn't doing it's work. Besides, to the flank your armour is papyrus-thin, so good luck. Any more prejudices? :D

That StuG idea wasn't all bad, but it took a bit to refine the vehicle into something a bit more effective.

Here it is practically the same thing but with a proper casemate, without all those crazy angles. Now that's what a StuG ought to look like from the beginning! Oh, and the chassis were obtained for free, one might say we just picked them for the trees but Panzer IIIs don't grow on trees, they grow on the ground like strawberrys :D

    Now
