I've made two small but significant enhancements to the reputation system.

First, all members can now visit their User Control Panel and see the last few people they have given reputation to. I had more than a few requests from a few of you Rogues for this feature and it is now available.

Second, members can now select exactly how many points to give when awarding reputation points to their fellow Rogues. Reputation points can be given out in any amount from zero up to a Rogue's total Reputation Power.

This should now round out the reputation system and make it more useful and helpful, which is especially significant now since user promotions will now be based on posts, length of membership and reputation. Best of all, if you don't want to see the reputation received or awarded, there is a one-click function to hide these fields in your control panel.

Feedback, question and comments are welcome.

Good work, Herr Otto! I would give you some Rep, but i've got to spread the loving around a bit first.

No worries Musso. Thats to make sure you Rogues spread the reputation far and wide.

Rep cannot be given to the same person until you give it to another ten people first, and you can only give out rep 10 times in each 24 hour period.

That is a good Idea! Glad you made it public, too. Now I can thank people for posts that I enjoyed reading, see exactly which posts I have given a 'well-done' for, and which ones are still needing to be given a 'thank you' for, and all without cluttering up the threads!

I love being told thank you for such and such a post/thread, but would really prefer not to have a post made for no other purpose.:D The reputation system solves this perfectly!

Hehe, don't feel bad slip, you are on the verge of being a significant player, reputation-wise, very close to being a 4 pointer. Add one more point for crossing 2,000 posts, and another for receiving 500 reputation points. As a bonus, you will get yet another on May 21st, for 1 year of loyal service. You will be a strutting 5 pointer in no time. Don't get too cocky though, as right now Carl Evans is a mere five posts away from carrying 20 reputation points to throw around!

I love this rep system! It allows me the chance to say 'well done' to a specific post, and without having to clutter up a thread too do so! Thank you Otto!:D

I just got my second "You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later" Notice, lol.

not enough to coax Carl I'm afraid Joe, hang onto your monies and look into buying some extremely rare shoulder boards to dangle in front of him and then C may bite ! :D

Hi Joe, in case Paul or Wessex or someone has not yet told ya, I think that's equal to $40 bucks? ;-D
