My apologies if blatant, self-serving, commercial announcements are not permitted. If this is the case then please delete this entry.

Available for immediate delivery - "Secret Weapons of the Canadian Army" by Roger V. Lucy

This new book will be of interest to modelers, hobbyists and those interested in the artillery, light weapons and armoured vehicles of the Second World War. "Secret Weapons of the Canadian Army" looks at the many projects undertaken to improve (or invent) weapons systems to counter enemy technology. Some projects are well-known, such as the Skink, while others will be a revelation, such as a Ram tank constructed as an M-10 Anti-tank vehicle.

This book is a natural companion to "Tools of the Trade", released last year, and is a companion title to the hugely popular "Weapons of War" series of books on the Canadian use of guns and AFVs. Copies will be sent for review to specialist magazines and websites.

Now in stock for immediate delivery. Standard trade discount of 40% applies.

"Secret Weapons of the Canadian Army", Roger V. Lucy, ISBN 1-894581-40-7, 128pp, 153 ill., 7x10", Soft Cover. Suggested retail price CDN$29.95 (approx US$24.00) http://www.servicepub.com/secretwpns.htm

They tend to be permitted if the subject matter is interesting and the poster is a genuine forum member and not a spammer.

For example, I have lost cuont of the number of times Tony Williams has advertised his 'Foresight War' novel ;)
