The Show of Shows is a little too far away for me as well.

However, I am planning on going to the Militaria 2011 show next year. I missed it last year but have been many times previous.

I can highly recommend it as it is a big event that attracts a lot of European dealers who sometimes have some very unusual items for sale.

Martin, it is well worth it.

It is probably a fair distance (as it is for me) for you to travel to, but I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed once you got there. It can take all day to get around the show and see what is on offer.

The show is spread over two halls with a huge selection of stalls in each.

I'm always like a 'kid in a sweet shop' when I'm there. ;)

If Santa brings me a nice new diary I may make a note of the date....
