Had this on my wall for awhile. Black propaganda leaflet shelled to U.S. troops during the Battle of the Bulge by SS Standarte Kurt Eggers correspondance unit. I tried to use enough light so it can be read. One of my favorite pieces. Hopefully, the soldier who read it was aware of its purpose and didn't lose heart realizing who drafted it.

A nice M1 shell, early war production with fixed bails. It is complete and has not been tampered with, on the outside as well as on the inside of the crown it is blackened because it was used as a pot.

    Postwar repro photo.

Interesting wartime story and and of the 5000 to survive:

Carl Rodenburg (17 May 1894 – 5 November 1992) was a German general who commanded the 76. Infanterie-Division during the Battle of Stalingrad. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Carl Rodenburg was taken prisoner by Soviet troops on 31 January 1943, during the Battle of Stalingrad. He was held until 1955.

The fist and only item from the Legion Azul I will probably ever get. This is a 1942 pocket agenda with propaganda in Spanish for the volunteers of the famous Legion. All personnal data has practically been erased , so it appears mint, but in fact I could decypher a pencil written "10270" number as well as others numbers that appears to be Feldpostnumbers. Unfortunately four pages were removed .Another sentence says "R.B por, 30 mi x 3432 and has two. Rosto Zono" (probably coordonates ) .

Coleman Model 521 Military Burner. This burner was used by the medical department of the US Army to sterilize medical equipment in field hospitals. Igote completely with a folding stands to put pots or basins on. The leaflet with the operating directions is not original though, only a printout of a scan of an original.

U.S Gasoline lamp made by Coleman. The glass is missing but this was a present , so fair enough for such a nice lamp.

This is an early version, later versions were double the size and could be folded.
