ww2 k98 silencer ...expensive

    They were mainly used on the Eastern Front. They usually go unnoticed in pics, as they did by GIs rooting through piles of captured weapons, since they used the grenade launcher base & clamp. Senich's sniper book has some details, too.


    I just looked at the detail pic... ouch! I wonder if the crack near the end cap is from using the wrong material for a wipe? It has definitely been fired post-ww2.
