    All I get are Black Boxes with red "x"s in them :-(

    Oh its ok. and thanks for the comments. As i am new to collecting i wanted to start off my collection with a real helmet. I am glad to hear it is real.

    That's a good lid, and thanks for the copies of pics Andy. I wish I could convince the CC Museum of Science and History to sell me theirs. They have atleast 10 WWI German Stahlhelms and several Pichelhaubes. All were donated by the Blucher family, and all the lids are in restorable condition ;-))
