    That's definitely a Stengun modification of some hideous kind.

    By the way, that M56/ l.MG42 weapon really looks like the original. Shameless copy, actually.

    Are you sure it is a WW2 weapon. Looks very much like the SMG L2A3 to me. Slight modification to the front. It could be a latter model of the Sterling, but I didn't think they had the hand grip like that. Photographed from the other side.
