Im happy that I found this forum, the information and knowledge here seems amazing. A great place for questions and discussion. Im 21 and I love art and especially comics. Im drawing WWII-stuff in cartoonish style, becouse Im intrested in WWII, and especially the vechicle warfare, and especially tanks. The thing that makes me intrested in vechicles for war is that its one of the situations when humans have to operate a machine to perfection, for their own lifes sake. Its also intresting how several people work togheter in a machine, brings the machine to life and therefore kind of becomes "one" creature, a monster of steel. Im not into glorifying war at all...and I easily get upset when I see young people discussing different soldiers of war like they are pokémons, not human beings in a horrible situation. Btw its weird to write...I cant make spaces between sections of what I write, why is that?? Anyway hello to everyone!=)

Enjoy your stay with us. If you like WW2 history you'll love this place. There is a lot about Sweden too, for instance the steel road which triggered the Narvik campaign in Norway or the internee camps when airmen crashed in Sweden.

Howdy and welcome aboard! I was not and art major, but I do enjoy oil painting these machines of WWII. Only instead of tanks, I paint warships and an occasional fighter plane. Enjoy your stay here!

G'day Erkan...I've been drawing WW2 aircraft for years (and then designing my own - geeky i know!) You might want to contact Commando magazine and send them some of your stuff, may end up with some work...especially if you make it a Swedish type story "the war from Sweden!" Otherwise a swedish version of Commando! Happy to help coming up with stories! - Enjoy yourself.

CAC, you mean inventing a fictionairy story about WWII in Sweden? To be honest, I dont know much about the Scandinavian part in WWII. But I have seen documentrys where they mention swedish and norwegian volunteers in dangerous missions.

Sweden was neutral and the goverment did not approve of these volunteers from what I know. I also know that Sweden sold material and rocks (which would become material for the future "super-Berlin" city). An intresting but crazy fact is that Germany actually kept buying stone from Sweden until the very end of the war. They paided lots of money for the rocks but never came to pick them, I think it was becouse of the risk of the ships being attacked. I dont understand why they kept ordering material for a bigger Berlin even when all of Germany was completely ruined by war and there was nothing left.

Btw I will upload art in the future! Im glad people are intrested, even if its cartoonish style. But I can do realistic stuff aswell, maybe I should do some of that too?
