My name is Stephen, I came up with my username from one of USS New Jersey's nicknames, Black Dragon.I am 13 actually, and I've been interested in WWII since 2008I am from New Jersey in the U.S. but my nationalities are Italian (which I am currently learning to speak), Hungarian/German, Irish, and Greek.I'm interested in all areas of WWII, and I would like to learn more about the Pacific. I like looking up things about WWII, I love to play Arsenal of Democracy with the Cold War Extension, I've visited lower Manhattan, I'm going to the Memorial Fountains where the WTC used to be in October. WWI because I want to expand my knowledge in that and the Vietnam and Korean Wars. I hope I enjoy my time here and I hope the members are as awesome as they seem to be.
Nice to meet you Stephen and welcome aboard! Always good to have younger members join. Nice to see some of the youth interested in history.
howdy, welcome to the forum,im sure that you will learn quite a bit on here, some of which might not match up with what you may find in your school history books. we have many vets on here.
Welcome Stephen, I'm really pleased that someone your age is seeking knowledge on the World Wars. I often wonder if teenagers have any interest in History any longer and especially the World Wars, there seem to be so many other activities vying for your time. History is so much more important than most people seem to believe, if the powers that be in Washington had spent a little time studying the Russian or British experiences in Afghanistan I would hope the US involvement there would have been handled in a much different way. Please get involved with the forum, there are a lot of helpful, knowledgeable people that read and post here. I, for one, look forward to hearing more from you in the near future.
Welcome and it is wonderful to see the younger generation using good English skills and not that texting short hand crap. There are so many knowledgeable people here that you are sure to have many questions answered. It's great to see you interested in history!
