Hello from West Sussex UK

    Hello to everyone on this forum, which i found by chance. Looks very interesting and informative.
    My family has a Military background. Dad spent 28 years in the Army. retiring in 86. I spent the first 18 or so years of my life as a forces brat. Grandfather was in the Royal Artillery in the War. My grand mothers twin brother was lost at Dunkirk. My father in law whom i sadly never met was captured in France as part of the BEF and spent the rest of the war as a POW.
    I regret not joining the Army, i am due to retire from the Police in a few weeks.
    Look forward to reading through this forum, sure it will teach me a lot and hopefully i can offer a bit too.

    welcome to the forum John, in echo of gunbunny even though you didn't join the military your years with the police is still serving, and appreciated.
