    Here are a few excerpts from the loss report on the SSgt Bono's B-17G:

    This is the report from the one survivor from the crew (Sgt Clark). I have trouble reading his handwriting, but I think he is saying that the three crew members that bailed out were shot by German troops. Bono was on of the three that bailed out. He said previously that Bono was "right behind [him]" when he bailed out.

    Glad you enjoyed it. I'm interesting in knowing what became of Sgt Clark's written statement. If he thinks three crew members were shot, I would assume that some type of investigation was launched.
