Researching My Dad's information and need a good place to start

    My father was in the american army 1st calvery division 7th calvery was his unit


    he was involved with the leyte landings in october 1944


    his name is carmelo buscemi

    I am looking to find all I can about his war experiences since he has passed on


    any help or direction is appreciated to start doing research
