Good afternoon from a new guy in Alabama.

    Good afternoon. My name is Carl Miller and I came across this site while trying to research both of my grandfather's WWII service. They both served in 1944 & 1945, one Army the other Navy. I am starting with the one who was Army as I have a little more to go on. His name was Herman Miller and he was part of the 779th Armored Battalion. If someone could direct me as to the correct place to post the info. and questions I have it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Welcome to the forum, even though you are from Alabama. Post the ques​tionsin our "What Grandad Did in the War" section. I'll check my Stanton book for more info on the unit later
