Something stupid

    Hey every one,

    About 40 minuites from now i will either be dead or seriousy injured.

    If not then my friend has somehow managed to talk me out of what i plan to do, and what i plan to do is stupid, i wont tell any of you about what i am doing but i will let you know that i will be confronting a friend and an enemy.

    Hopefuly i will se you al later.

    Hmm. It's now 9 PM Eastern, and Gunney hasn't posted. I guess he's either dead or severley disabled. Keep your eye on the obits.

    Seriously though, I hope his is well, and has been talked out of whatever "stupid" thing he was planning on doing.

    Although, I must say I am curious to what this "stupid" thing is/was.

    Isn't Volga Boatman from Darwin, too? Maybe you guys could organize a search and rescue operation. I'd try the drinking establishments first. ;)

    He's from Darwin? Oddly enough...that's fitting, considering his post. The problem is, if he knew it was that stupid, why do it in the first place? Unless he's trying to talk a suicidal friend down, and hoping things don't go south (in the southern hemisphere, would it be "things going north"?) and he gets taken down (up?) as well.

    It just occurred to me that it must involve a woman. After all, the one thing that will make a man do something really stupid against his better judgment is a woman.

    I was thinking at first he was going to Bungee jump or go Skydiving, something like that. But I've had some "friends" who were my enemy also. And yeah a woman was involved.

    I think its fair to say that when he returns here (unless, of course, he is dead or seriously injured), he'll have a lot to talk about. Maybe his intention was just to start a conversation here? I haven't seen anyone announce something like this on a forum -- and since his message implies an act involving violence, announcing it beforehand on the internet isn't the smartest thing to do.

    And I always thought that nothing interested happened on a Sunday.

    well all fair thats well, my friend managed to talk me out of what i was planning to do, after he punched me in the gut, took the knife that i was planing to stab my self with off me and then proceded to sit me down and lecture the crap out of me.

    there was no violence intended

    yes it involved a woman

    yes my stomach hurts like hell

    and no i am not severly disabled but i am dead inside

    Here's a clue: They're only girls, there's more of them and you got a lot of life ahead of you. I have yet to find one that is worth stabbing myself over.

    And you will be. For a while. Bet there are a few here that have felt the same. I got drunk.
    And want to know who won that fight between me and the frenemy? We both lost out to some jock quarterback, so in reality we both Won. Funny thing is a few months later I found a real Woman :: we just celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary 5 months ago.
