And to be clear, I was not intending to say that women force men to do stupid things. I was pointing out that men will do stupid things because of their feelings for a particular woman that they normally wouldn't do. It's not the woman's fault. Guys just get stupid over women.

 

Hey, Gunney. If you really want a life lesson, do what I did when I was younger -- volunteer at a cancer center. I spent a year as a volunteer visiting with cancer patients. I talked with them, played cards or board games. Some of them were older folks. Some were just kids much younger than you. You do that for a year and then come back to this thread and tell us how your life is going.

BTW, I know something about divorce and broken homes. I was divorced 17+ years ago, my dad's parents were divorced and my mom's parents were both dead by the time she turned 8. Believe me when I tell you that you did not cause your parents' divorce. It is common for kids of divorce to blame themselves. If anyone told you that you were the reason, they were either lying or ignorant. No 3 year old child can make their parents get a divorce. If either or both blamed you, they were using you as an excuse to justify their own actions. Don't let their failure define your life. Decide for your self how you want your life to be and make it your own. You can feel sorry for yourself and remain miserable or you can decide to do something positive with your life. It's up to you.

I dont know what i want to think at the moment. She hates my guts i love her to death.

What i do know is that there were some feelings for me at some point of that i can be certain and i can proove this.

This girl has heaps and heaps of friends to the point where i think she knows or has talked to just about every year 10 in the school but for the last few weeks of school last term she had the choice to hang out with her best friends, people she had know for years yet she chose to hang out with me and she had only known me ofr not even a year, we would talk about things that she would'nt even talk to he best friends about, we basicly spent the entire last few weeks together and she still refused to sit with her other friends and chose to be with me.

She told me once that she likes guys with blue eyes and my eyes are blue (3 shades of blue and a bit of brown to be more precise).

 

Well, dude, first thing, you're still a teenager. She's a teenager (I'm assuming). Both of your hormones are going to be changing...sometimes rapidly. Feelings will change...again, rapidly. I wouldn't assume that she told you her most intimate of secrets, things that she wouldn't tell anyone else...chances are really good that if she told you, she's told someone else as well. Secrets aren't secrets once someone else knows, after all. And if the quality she likes best about you is your eyes, then you're much better off without her. Once your hormones start to level out, you'll find that there are women out there who are looking for something a bit deeper than just eye color. Those are the ones worth pursuing. The others are pretty much one-night-stands.
