Hi All, My second post here and I thought it might be worth telling you who I am. I'm 43, Living in Sydney Australia and spent nearly a decade in the Royal Australian Navy as a General List Officer (Navigation). I've taken an interest in Military history, attending ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day ceremonies in as many locations as I can. Changi (Singapore) and Isuarava (on the Kokoda Track) are two of my highlights for ANZAC Day. I'm currently writing a blog on the 75th Anniversary of World War II - I'm one of those that believes the war was started well before Britain, Australia, France and New Zealand declared war in September 1939. So I've started my blog in October 1937 and I'm working my way through. The material is a little sparse for a daily blog just yet, so it's only about weekly at this stage, but I think it will be a daily thing by the time we get to mid 1939. I'll be posting events as they occur, with a small delay of 75 years.

Glad to have you here. Do you have a link to your blog? I think many of us would be interested in reading it.
Welcome, paulb. We are beginning to have quite a burgeoning population of Aussies on the Forum. BTW, that's a good thing.
