It was a sunny and beautiful 62 for the high today, but it's supposed to plummet to 38 for the low. It was supposed to rain and thunderstorm all day though. The meteorologists really missed on this one.
Yup Busted through a few snow drifts getting to the mailbox and it only felt like 20 below, not the 'supposedly' minus 30 they were warning us about. Before you know it we'll be complaining about the heat.
Didn't have a tee time. And don't think of jumping in line at the tee box, or cutting in the first hole of the back nine when the marshal isn't looking. Those old-timers will chase you off real quick-like and then rat you out to the marshals.
2-4 inches of snow with a freezing ice glaze heading our way for Thursday. Tomorrow, the sweet ole ladies will be fist fighting for bread and milk at the grocery !
Well we're getting it ! About 45 minutes ago we had huge snow flakes and now we have thunder ice. Freezing rain with thunder...
Hunker Down and stay inside! Clear and cold here now - about 6 above and light winds. You can keep that stuff down South.
Wolves up here are trudging through nearly 2 1/2 feet of snow in the woods in places. On the bright side: we're suppose to reach 30 degrees by this weekend !! Don't remember the last time it was that hot here.
32 inches... Yipppes ! As I type, OP and myself here in MOOOOsuri are getting HAIL and freezing rain !
Wolves feed better in the winter. Animals are weaker when the fodder is scarce and they have to expend more energy to move around. In summer wolves are often reduced to eating the occasional rabbit or some unlucky critter that made a mistake of some kind.
