Hi my name is Roy but cannot remember when that was last used, as at 6ft 7in tall I am known as Lofty. I am now retired and live in Essex, but actually Welsh by birth. My interest in WW2 started with military vehicles and soon moved to people (veterans), and Operation Market Garden. I have a good number of books on that subject. Having popped in her to have look, I could not resist registering, I have been a member of WWT since 2009 and made a number of contributions there in my simple way. Enough of me, I keen to look at more on this forum. Regards lofty
Welcome Lofty! Been enjoying the recent influx of WW2T members dropping in. Take a look around, we are looking to convert your home site over to this system fairly soon.
Hi Lofty. It's always nice to welcome new members, but especially those from WW2Talk. I hope you'll be a frequent contributor.
Thanks for the welcome every one. As requested here is a link to my Ambulance thread http://www.ww2talk.com/forum/weapons-technology-equipment/25114-23-years-my-k2y-ambulance.html If you stick with it to the near the end there are some Youtube clips I added after teaching myself how to do it. best regards to all lofty
Welcome....But with you lot moving over here....Does this mean that whenever a newbie joins asking about his Brit history I can't pop up and tell him to visit talk...a more commonwealth and British forum...I'm redundant then...
