    Just to say that the British did use bulldozers, ask Brian Guy (Sapper)

    Any British members, a visit to Bovington tank museum is a great day out, and if the family think, arggh God how boring, send them a mile up the road to Monkey world while you explore the tanks lol

    There's a Mk IV AVRE on display on the Isle of Wight -Osborne House?! I have copies of pics of it, but I don't have the copyright on them to post in here unfortunately. [​IMG]

    There were 2 bridging types of Churchill tanks. The first was for holes that were 70-80 feet. These took some time to lay down in place. The second was a smaller bridge that was much for sturdy and spanned 30 feet. It had a faster battlefield tactical role. T.A really listed them all thought besides the Shermine fascine there was of course a Churchill MK VII version as well.
