Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State

I just finished watching this BBC Documentary on Netflix.
Terrific in depth account of Auschwitz, and the Final Solution in general.
I learned a lot about the camps, the deportations in the different countries, accounts of heroism, escapes, levels of cooperation by foreign countries with the deportations, The aftermath, trials, hunting war criminals, interviews with survivors and an SS officer who worked there.

Highly recommended.

Scary to think that of the 7000 surviving SS Nazis who worked at Auschwitz, only 800 ever stood trial.

 

Sickening. And how many of those 800 were convicted?
