    My point was, that much of my previous argumentation was based on no one noticing the fact that abortion isn't carried out on shapeless lumps of cells but rather on recognizable babies. You sort of blew that up. ;)

    Obviously, my point about aborted unborns only stands if you're of the opinion that babies are not full human beings. Few would.

    Um, abortion is often carried out immediately after conception - ever heard of the 'morning-after pill'?
    According to the medical staff at my Uni it was a very popular item on a Friday morning (Thursday was the big clubbing night for students)

    The morning-after pill is not what is generally debated as "abortion" though, it is more of an emergency measure.
