Could you please provide proof of this. As everything I have read on the matter points to a start date on or around May 20-22, 2015, as the start date of the FBI investigation. Although, most of the popular news outlets point to August, 2015.

Perhaps you have confused the House Benghazi Committee investigation, which had subpoenaed the e-mails, in early March, 2015, a few weeks before the server was erased in late March, 2015, was a Congressional investigation and a Congressional subpoena, not an FBI one. Also, there were at least two FOIA court cases that were winding their way through the system.

AFAIK, the phones were destroyed sometime prior to the Congressional investigation.

Congress is not the FBI...Contempt of Congress matters are referred to the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, also the Senate can initiate action in federal district court to enforce compliance with the subpoena. The FBI is not involved in these matters.

They used to say a week is a long time in politics, right now a day is a long time in politics. We could potentially be looking at another General Election over here. Given it's just cost the public purse £130 million for the election held last Thursday for Theresa May's vanity project, I'm hacked off that such money could have been thrown instead at our National Health Service debt.

We are currently short of thousands of nurses and yesterday it was revealed that applications from EU nurses have fallen 96% (only 46 applications recently) due to the uncertainty surrounding Brexit and internally our Govt. have scrapped the bursaries the UK nurses used to get to study to qualify.

Either side of the pond, I wish they would get themselves sorted out. Everything is as clear as mud right now!
