Sorry about the last name I was talking to his sister 3 months and she use to hide stuff from me including last name. Well this is my great uncle SS vet he died in berlin... His sister never told me how or what unit he was in but I will tell u guys what I remember. Alright he was drafted or somthing but she said he was in a uniform and marching in a blink of and eye and laughed and said he was in the estern front, hungary at the time of operation bargartion ( if I spelled right plz correct me) and he was just a kid liike 18 put in the middle of russains no offense but they where scary that's what he would say the reds were scary anyway he was around the hungary german border and was engaged in heavy fightng and they pulled back deeper in to germany numerous times they were so close to being encircled I ( I am sorry for not being detailed pulling from memory) I can remember her seeing him rhe last time before berlin his eyes she said he was hardend she said he seen things he would see germans shot surrendering, geramans. Executed by ss killing squades for so called "lack of loyalty to the fuher" he would see volks greanidiers (german miillitia) using the dead germans as target practice their own brothers, country men, young boys like 16 or17 to be killed by russains or ss killing squads it was tirreable to much for me to stomach so she was very detailed and then she started crying I decided not to continue..... PLZ DON'T INVADE PRIVACY OF THOSES WHO WAS THEIR IF THEY HAVE HARD TIME CONTINUING STOP THEM PLZ she lost he little brother because of a made man a lunictic I hope his sacrifice was not in vain I hope nothing like this ever happend a agin.
