Sorry. I would ask how many hundreds instead. Their skills were needed and after the war they and innocent soldiers were left on their own. For instance many Finnish soldiers got amphetamine to fight the war. When the war ended they never got any help from the government to ease the situation. They were not helped and I do not believe things were any different elsewhere. So no financial help-what would they do?
