Your history is a little wobbly here.

Extreme supporters of Mr. Trump, like the pathetic coward who elbowed a unsuspecting man being led away by a squad of sheriff's, has more in common with the SA in both temperament and action than the protesters in Chicago. Yes they were loud and disruptive, but not violent that I could see, and I was watching it live on TV.

The protesters should have remained outside, the would have been covered heavily by most of the press and at least somewhat by Fox News.

During the 20's and early thirties, all spectrum's of political parties had their 'army's' and SA/KPD often clashed in the streets and during each others rally's. The SA is better known because they 'won' and often had tacit support from local law enforcement.

Exactly. What I see in many Trump supporters is the same mentality that was exhibited by the SA in the 20's and 30's. Protest is a bad thing and reasoned discourse has gone by the wayside. Trump seems to fan the flames and lets others do his bidding. Scary.

Each candidate's supporters have a generalized personality. Some of Hillary's would seem shrill and emotional, feminist, lgbt.
Sanders supporters might be young and naive, Cruz's as unstable religious extremists.
Easy to paint negative portraits of those we disagree with.

Hillary says we should be nicer.
Will start...i'd make love to Donalds daughter. The grown up one...see, that was easy. Hillary is right. Feel better already.

INITIATE--INITIATE....just like MBrown, EGarner, FGray.....the protesters initiate the problem! the SA disrupted other parties functions...the protesters and criminals are wrong, not the supporters and police...here it goes again....the supporters, police are the bad ones....not the protesters or criminals.......the media does this all the time.....try to make good to bad--bad to good....purple is really yellow.....!!!!!!

they go there to START trouble...the protesters START IT, not Trumpies
are you or are you not for free speech and peaceful meetings, etc???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they do not leave when lawfully ordered to leave...

disrupted other political party meetings .....

    bold mine
EXACTLY like the SA...again, are you or are you not for peaceful free speech and meetings??

Funny that though Lou and I are on opposite ends of the political spectrum we have similar views on Mr. Trump. Go figure. :)

According to Mr. Trump today, some of the protesters identified themselves as Sanders supporters. Curious thing is he is often derided as a lukewarm communist, not a fascist. Mr. Trump on the other hand talks repeatedly on how a certain segment of our society is responsible for all our ill's, and once they are dealt with all will be better and we will return to a state of greatness that was stolen from us. How anyone who disagrees with him ought to be dealt with in the old ways.

Mr. Trump is a great fan of free speech, but only his speech. He has repeatedly sued people and organizations who has claimed/reported his wealth or power was not as great as he claimed. He has also stated in one rally snippet that he wants to amend the libel laws so that he could more easily sue anyone in the future who contradicts him. He also is now demanding his volunteers sigh non-disclosure agreements, under penalty of being sued for damages.

He belittles anyone who disagrees with him in the crudest way imaginable, then cry's foul when his own words are turned back upon him.

I intend to exercise my right to vote this November while I still can.

Unfortunately, I have reached my limit of salutes, otherwise you would have received one for this. It has become almost a norm to compare the opposition or anyone that is disliked to Adolf Hitler.... Putin, Trump and others all seem to have fallen victim to "fair and balanced".

Sorry bronk. Protesting has been a part of American history. From the Boston Tea Party to the Civil Rights movement and beyond, protest is what America is about. The forces of Trump, and Trump himself, want to deny this right. That's just wrong.

B F S.....this is nothing like the Boston Tea Party.....nothing about civil rights ...nothing nothing nothing like that.......please use another analogy.......so you are for people--like the SA--who purposefully --disrupt and stop political meetings??????????? there is no right to disrupt political meetings...in fact it's against law !! .....are you out of your mind??!!!!?? you can't go and cause chaos....it's uncivilized......you are for people to go to a peaceful meeting and show their hate, cause mayhem, etc???
they began to disrupt the meetings of rival political groups.

OK. I'll bow out. We obviously disagree. We'll leave it at that.

Trump's pigeons are coming home to roost, and not in the way he quite expected.

We need a President that will unite the people...Not divide them.

    ???

In 8 years, Obama has not been able to achieve the level of division that took Trump only 8 months.

Lay off the "heavy" drugs man.

Gee, and they had to be approved by the Senate...a bunch of mostly old white guys. Guess those mostly old white guys are anti-white too. Who knew?

Read up on former ambassador Edward L. Peck. He was pretty fly for a white guy...

What about Hawaii, New Jersey, Ohio, Alaska, New Mexico, and Connecticut?

They are all in greater debt than Illinois...Who was "taking care" of them??? Certainly not Obama...

Further along those lines. Isn't it the Governor of the state who is supposed to be "taking care" of said state? Obama was never Governor of Illinois...
